Does Codename One offer student/educational pricing?
Codename One has a generous free tier that allows full commercial use and places no restrictions on usage. It does have a quota but the quota limits are high and easily alleviated through friend referral, see this.
It also allows you to build without the need for Codename One servers using Maven's offline build targets.
As such we don't have education specific pricing because the high end subscriptions aren't designed for educational use. Most educational institutes that use Codename One use the free tier.
Our auxiliary products such as our courses include a large free tier and our books are available in low e-book prices. The developer guide is completely free as a PDF download.
